This is web site of Japanese immigration bureau referring to application requirements for “Highly skilled professional number 1″visa.
Unfortunately, Japanese immigration bureau has not disclosed English version of point calculation sheet yet and we need to use this old point calculation sheet used for existing other visa.
Academic research is “Highly skilled professional number 1 I.”
Advanced specialized-technical is “Highly skilled professional number 1 Ro.”
Business management is “Highly skilled professional number 1 Ha.”
*Points are same as those of “Highly skilled professional number 1” visa.
You just need to check categories and add points you are entitled to.
If your points reach 70 or more and you can submit documents proving them, you can apply for “Highly skilled professional number 1.”
It”s very simple!
For example,if you are going to work in Japanese corporation as an employee, you need to check 2nd sheet.
If you have doctor’s degree, you can add 30 points,
If you have business experience concerning business you are going to engage in Japan, you can add another 20points,
If you are 35 years old and you expected annual remuneration is 6 million JPY,you can gain 20points,
Total points will be 70 points!
On condition you can prove these points by certifying documents, you can obtain “Highly skilled professional number 1 ” visa.
